Steven Jinks bibliography
Steven Jinks is a London based fine Jeweller who has been designing and making jewellery for over twenty years. His training as a craftsman involved working at the bench in several London based workshops combined with study at the London Guildhall University and St Martins’ College of Art and Design.
He continues to produce jewellery for renowned designers and international retailers situated in Hatton Garden and Mayfair as well as making individually designed and handmade pieces for private clientele.
Sustaining and promoting high levels of traditional UK craftsmanship whilst embracing new technologies and innovative design are fundamental to Steven’s approach to jewellery making. He is a Freeman of the Goldsmiths’ Company and is a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Goldsmiths, an organisation that will only accept members who are capable of producing work of the highest quality and who are committed to preserving the art of jewellery making. Steven continues to promote these through both his making work, as a part-time jewellery tutor and as a trainer and judge for national and international jewellery competitions.
